Mi 11 Lite With 90Hz AMOLED Display with Snapdragon 732G SoC Is Now Available In India: Price And Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, the company’s newest model, was released in India on Tuesday. The new smartphone, which was released in late March around the world, is a more cheap version of the Mi 11, which was released in December as a flagship Mi-series phone. Xiaomi did not release the Mi 11 in India, instead opting to release the Mi 11X series in April. The Mi 11 Lite is originally available in India in a 4G form, but Xiaomi India CEO Manu Kumar Jain revealed during the virtual launch event that the company hopes to offer the Mi 11 Lite in a 5G model if there is enough demand.

Mi 11 Lite Pricing And Availability In India

The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Mi 11 Lite is priced at Rs. 21,999 in India. The smartphone is also available with an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage combination for Rs. 23,999. Jazz Blue, Tuscany Coral, and Vinyl Black are the three colour options available on both Mi 11 Lite models. Pre-orders will begin on June 25 at 12 p.m. (noon) through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other retail outlets, with the phone’s maiden sale set for June 28. Customers who pre-order the Mi 11 Lite will receive a discount of Rs. 1,500. Customers who purchase the phone with an HDFC Bank card will receive an additional discount of up to Rs. 1,500.

The Mi 11 Lite was launched for a price of EUR 299 (Rs. 26,400) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. In China, the Mi 11 Lite 5G was released with a starting price of CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 26,300) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. In India, Xiaomi released the Mi Watch Revolve Active alongside the Mi 11 Lite. The smartwatch is available for Rs. 8,999 in India.

Specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

The Mi 11 Lite’s selling point is its ultra-thin design, which is claimed to be the world’s thinnest at 6.8mm and the lightest of all smartphones announced in 2021 thus far at 157 grammes. Xiaomi altered the production process for the Mi 11 Lite in order to appeal to consumers as thin and light as possible. A “flat flexible OLED” and a revised circuit board that is 35% smaller than a standard smartphone printed circuit board are among the upgrades (PCBA). Smaller capacitors are also available, which are said to be similar to those found on the iPhone.

In order to make the battery of the Mi 11 Lite tiny and light, Xiaomi used a chip-on-board technique and a single fold design. The display also boasts a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Mi 11 Lite is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, which has an Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

A 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.79 lens is housed in the Mi 11 Lite’s triple back camera arrangement. An 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens with a field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees, as well as a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens, are included in the rear camera system. There’s also an LED flash to help with low-light photography. In addition, the camera configuration can shoot 4K footage at 30 frames per second. The Mi 11 Lite has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 lens on the front for selfies and video chats. AI Beautify, Night mode, and Time burst are among the functions available on the selfie camera.

The Mi 11 Lite comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 512GB). 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Infrared (IR), Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities. An accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. Dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio are also included. In addition, the smartphone is IP53-certified for dust and water protection.On the Mi 11 Lite, Xiaomi has included a 4,250mAh battery with a stated “endurance rating” of over 100 hours.
