Alakh Pandey, the CEO and founder of PhysicsWallah, wed his girlfriend Shivani Dubey in a private ceremony on February 22. Pandey yesterday uploaded gorgeous photos to Instagram from their midday wedding. The edtech unicorn’s founder wore an embroidered, cream-colored sherwani on his special day. With her crimson lehenga and bridal jewellery, the bride shone with beauty.

Alakh Pandey addressed his students directly in the Instagram caption he posted, explaining that he was unable to extend an invitation to them to the ceremony. A live telecast of the wedding, he claimed, would not have looked good. Instead, he was releasing images from the event.

Over a year after they declared their engagement, Alakh Pandey and Shivani Dubey are getting married. In May 2022, they made their engagement public, and Instagram users shared images from the wedding. This weekend, the couple will have a lavish wedding reception at a five-star hotel in Delhi.

Originally from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, Pandey left college in his third year to work as a physics instructor at a school in Kanpur. He started his career as a teacher in this way, and it has now flourished into a lucrative business. In 2014, Pandey established a YouTube channel called PhysicsWallah, which expanded during the pandemic as the need for online education increased. Shivani Dubey is a native of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, just like Alakh Pandey.
