Whatsapp Is Launching A New Quick Reply Shortcut.

WhatsApp Business adds additional tools and capabilities to help businesses better manage client discussions. “Quick Replies” was one of the first business platform features to allow users to reuse frequently sent messages by creating keyboard shortcuts. In a chat, the user must type “/” and then choose from a list of messages to send. WhatsApp is introducing a new entry point for seeing all accessible shortcuts made in WhatsApp Business Settings this week:

The new shortcut has been introduced to the chat share action menu, as shown in this screenshot, but it is not limited to iOS users: beta testers using the newest WhatsApp Business beta for Android may see the same shortcut in the same location. It’s unclear why WhatsApp decided to add another shortcut to open your quick replies, but it’s likely that the new shortcut will help more businesses become aware of the feature. On the current Business beta, this feature was made available to a small number of Android and iOS beta testers, and further activations are anticipated after fresh updates are issued.
